Throughout his professional journey, Donovon remained rooted in his passion for community service and empowerment. As the Executive Director of Essie's Place, a prominent non-profit organization in Salmon Arm, BC, he has been a driving force in addressing and preventing challenges faced by the LGBTIQ2SA+ community and their families. Under his leadership, Essie's Place has conducted impactful research, organized enlightening workshops, provided crucial access to counseling and support services, and facilitated connections with vital community groups and programs.
